KIMO International Annual General Meeting held in Palanga, Lithuania
Palanga- 8th-10th October 2010
The 20th AGM was hosted by the municipalities of Palanga nad Klaipeda in Lithuania. Issues covered included HELCOM and the Baltic Sea Action Plan, nuclear emissions to the marine environment, coastal erosion, and pollution from shipping. KIMO International Annual General Meeting held in The Hague
The Hague - 8th, 9th & 10th October 2009
KIMO's annual general meeting was held in the Hague on the 8th, 9th and 10th October 2009. Day one consisted of the National Coordinators meeting, Baltic Forum meeting and our International Board meeting. Day two consisted of a conference and a bus tour. Day three focused

KIMO UK Conference discussing lost containers a resounding success
Aberdeen - June 5th 2009
UK Coordinator, Mr Tom Piper announced that the inaugural KIMO Conference was recently held in Aberdeen on 5th June 2009. The conference was entitled 'The Grounding of the MSC Napoli: Lessons to be learnt'. The 1-day event examined the grounding of the MSC Napoli and identified lessons that local authorities can implement when planning a response to a similar incident in their own back yard. Fishing for Litter South West launches successfully
Newlyn, Cornwall - 13th March 2009
KIMO' successful environmental scheme has now been launched in the South West of England. The initiative was launched by Seafood Cornwall Training Ltd's Sarah Henshall, KIMO Secretariat John Mouat and KIMO UK Coordinator Tom Piper.
