Kirkcudbright
Harbour
The inland port of Kirkcudbright is the thirteenth location to join the network of harbours around Scotland.
Peter Roberts, Kirkcudbright Harbourmaster says:
“The skippers are very enthusiastic about the project and are keen to take part. The first boat to take up the scheme was the Aquinis, skippered by Steven Kerr and, interestingly, the first litter bag they brought in included an aircraft undercarriage. The Susan Bird, was the second boat to get involved locally, with Steven Girgan, the skipper, having seen the scheme in operation in other harbours.”
Below is a list of all of the vessels and their registration details which were involved in the Fishing for Litter scheme.
