The meeting of KIMO's national coordinators is designed to streamline and improve the practical operation of KIMO's international organisation. Coordinators from across KIMO's networks meet to ensure individual network's projects and operations are complementary to the development of KIMO as a whole.

It is important to ensure all national networks are working in tandem. For example, updates on KIMO's Fishing for Litter's international expansion, the development of international projects, such as KIMO's upcoming micro-plastics research project.

Given the international nature of the organisation, KIMO have formal meetings, and also more frequent 'Webex' meetings via the internet to ensure coherent progress for all our members.
