Our Secretariat         
            Mr John Mouat

The KIMO Secretariat was originally composed of one member of staff. The Secretariat's office has now expanded to include a part-time Administration assistant, a consultant and a graduate placement. The Secretariat's office has a number of objectives. The Secretariat works to maintain productive contact with all national networks to coordinate practical and research based projects. In addition, the Secretariat works to further KIMO's overall goals by compiling draft Resolutions, KIMO International reports, organising AGM, board & business meetings and giving presentations. This work is designed to promote KIMO's projects and objectives amongst members and potential members. Promotional literature, such as e-newsletters, and the organisation's website are authored in the Secretariat's office.

The goal of the KIMO Secretariat is to provide local municipalities with a voice to support the protection, maintenance and enhancement of Europe's waters.
